Our client, a cutting-edge WMS and Supply Chain Software company in Atlanta, GA, backed by industry veterans, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the charge on their flagship product. As the Senior Product Owner, you will be the driving force behind the product's vision, strategy, and execution.  Collaborating closely with executive leadership, clients, and a talented development team, you will deliver a world-class WMS solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and champion the product vision, collaborating with stakeholders to understand market needs and translating them into a compelling roadmap. Create vision diagrams and other artifacts to effectively communicate the vision.
• Product Roadmap & Backlog Management: Develop and prioritize features, epics, and user stories based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business goals. Maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
• User Story Creation: Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Development Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, ensuring they understand the product vision and requirements. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Client Engagement: Gather feedback from existing and potential clients to understand their needs and incorporate them into the product roadmap.
• Go-to-Market Strategy: Play a key role in the go-to-market strategy, working with marketing and sales to launch the WMS Product successfully.
• Market Analysis: Continuously research and analyze the WMS market and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of proven product ownership and management experience, with a demonstrable track record of successfully launching and managing products.
  • A portfolio showcasing successful product launches and demonstrable business impact is highly desired.
• 5+ years of experience working closely with software development teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • A technical background is beneficial, but exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and other key processes. Experience with various warehouse models and technologies is highly valued.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrable experience presenting to executive leadership, clients, and development teams. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences is crucial.
• Highly motivated and self-directed, with a proven ability to independently drive product initiatives forward and achieve results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience identifying and resolving complex issues related to product development and market dynamics. The ability to think strategically and anticipate potential challenges is essential.
• Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to Atlanta, GA as well as to client sites.
